Exercise is planned, structured, repetitive and intentional movement one does to improve or maintain physical fitness. With exercise, you may require equipment, sportswear, planning and organising which cost money and time. It is one of the common reasons and excuses, to stop many from committing to do exercise.
Movement however is simply physical activity and exercise is a subcategory of movement. Movement is easy and free of hassle. One that many could find no excuse for not doing. However in our modern lifestyle, movement is often reduced to the very minimum. We have ditched moving for sitting down. We sit for 13-15 hours a day and sleep for the rest of the hours.
